VINTAGE
Our 2015 Vintner’s Select is made of 100% zinfandel from a collection of our estate vineyards. The Alitia and Creekside vineyards serves as the base for the 2015 vintage (80%) with the remaining fruit originating from our Quartz vineyard. A fourth year of drought and an extremely hot summer again reduced the 2015 yield. The results are a concentrated wine with big fruit flavors.

Each of our vineyards are head-pruned and dry-farmed. All vineyards share the same soil type (coarse sandy loam) and are oriented East/West with the exception of Creekside, which runs North/South.
TASTE
Aromas of cherries, vanilla bean, cedar, and ginger greet the nose. Dark cherries, cola, and baking spices blanket the palate along with a healthy dose of tannins. Ample acid and oak, balance out the finish. Excellent with grilled meats and sweet BBQ sauce.
