Our Vineyards
Head-pruned, dry farmed, and sustainably raised, our oldest estate vineyards date back to 1894. Dry farming allows the vines to search out water in the natural water table of the land eliminating the need for any irrigation. Traditional head pruning allows the vines to utilize the constant summer breezes to naturally keep mildew away. All vineyards estate vineyards are planted on 'Sierra' soil–mainly decomposed granite with high iron content
