VINTAGE
The Creekside Vineyard was planted soon after the repeal of Prohibition in the mid-1930s. These old vines consistently produce beautiful bunches of complex fruit yielding an excellent 100% zinfandel wine. The 2021 vintage was an exceptional growing year with high yields even after intense thinning. Temperatures, ripeness, sun exposure were all ideal.
VINEYARD
Creekside is a 7.5 acre vineyard lying atop decomposed granite soil. The vineyard faces southwest benefitting from day-long sun exposure. The vines are naturally stressed due to dry farming and head pruning techniques.
TASTE
Aromas of currants, cola, and cassis. On the palate, cherry cola, black pepper and raspberries combine with ample acid and oak to form a full bodied zestful zinfandel.
